Livewires is a network of Christian children’s workers, set up in January 2018. Pete and Ali Gray head up the organisation and work with members based in different churches and organisations around the UK.
Ali is a Teacher of the Deaf and supports hearing impaired children in mainstream schools throughout County Durham. She currently leads the children’s work at Emmanuel Church Durham with Pete, as well as developing and delivering programmes and resources for Livewires. Ali is passionate about the adventure and journey of faith that God wants to take children on throughout their lives.
Pete is currently the Children’s, Youth and Community Worker at Emmanuel Church Durham. Primarily a children’s worker Pete has been working in faith-based children’s and youth work for 20+ years and is passionate about supporting children to have a lifetime of engagement with God. He is a storyteller and loves to help children explore faith through science and technology.
