We seek to connect and support the various examples of Christian faith-based children’s and youth work being carried out in both formal and informal education settings across the UK. Livewires Children’s Ministry will work alongside these various individuals and organisations to raise both the quality and professionalism of provision available to the children and young people with whom they and we work.
Livewires Children’s Ministry aims to provide an opportunity by which Christian faith-based children’s and youth workers can both access a range of high quality resources and receive support in developing their own. Some of the biggest barriers to the development and sharing of new ideas and practice within this field are the resources, time and logistical problems associated with publishing and training others to use materials. We would seek to provide support, guidance and ultimately publishing and training opportunities for new and existing resources, to increase access and availability of high quality resources and provision within the field.
